On June 26, 2013, a landmark decision was made by the Supreme Court in the case of United States v. Windsor. This decision legalized same sex marriage. The lead plaintiff was Edith Windsor. Four days later, an alpaca baby was born on our farm. We named her Edith Windsor, in honor of the strong woman who brought this case to it’s significant conclusion. Edie is a friendly and curious girl, and is always the first to alert if she sees a deer, fox or turkey emerge from the woods. Edie is a beautiful mahogany brown color.
Our yarn is not dyed. It is all natural. It is processed at a local mini-mill.
